Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Start by mixing the ground turkey together with the spices. You can do this with your hands, or you can also use a spatula, but I prefer to just get in there with my hands as it’s much easier.
Step 2
Next, form the meat into 8 small balls. You can weigh them, they should weigh about 43 grams each. But I just eyeball them. I divide the meat in half, then in half again, then each in half again and you have 8 balls. Form those balls into disks and make them as thin as possible as they will plump up when cooking!
Step 3
Coat your pan with olive oil and make sure it’s fairly hot before adding them in, you want to hear that sizzle! Depending on your stovetop, that could be medium or high. Cook 4 at a time, so you don’t crowd the pan. Allow to cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, and then flip, cooking until they are golden brown to your liking. Repeat with the remaining sausages.
Step 4
You can store these in an airtight container in the fridge if you don’t eat them all. They can be warmed up in the microwave, toaster oven, air fryer, or even in a skillet.
