- Mocktails or Cocktails: This Organic Bloody Mary Mix is just as good as a mocktail as it is a traditional Bloody Mary. So, if you have friends that don't drink alcohol then this is a great recipe for everyone!
- Protein Boost: Using bone broth in addition to homemade tomato juice adds a boost of protein to this Bloody Mary recipe.
Ingredients

- Bone Broth: I use Kettle & Fire Beef Bone Broth, use code MIMIBAKESCOOKIES for 20% off your order! I like beef broth here better than chicken, but either works.
- Roma Tomatoes: Organic Roma tomatoes are essential for this recipe.
- Red Pepper: I love organic red peppers because they are naturally sweet. They add natural sweetness and color to this organic Bloody Mary Mix.
- Grapefruit: I use organic grapefruit in place of lemons which is in traditional Bloody Mary Mix. But, it adds a citrus flavor that is unmatched.
- Cranberries: You can use fresh or frozen organic cranberries, either works.
- Apple Cider Vinegar: This brings an acidity to this healthy Bloody Mary Mix.
- Vodka: I use Square One Organic Vodka.
- Celery: This is the ultimate garnish for this classic cocktail.
- Green Olives: These are the ultimate garnish that brings a saltiness.
- Pink Himalayan Sea Salt: I use this on the rim of the glasses. It's optional, but it really makes them!

Tips for Bone Broth Bloody Mary Mix
- This needs to chill before serving, so if you are making for brunch, you can make it a day in advance so it can chill in the fridge.
- I like using beef bone broth here as it's a little richer and neutral. But, chicken bone broth also works. Just use a plain bone broth and not a flavored one.
- You can make this without alcohol for a delicious mocktail.

How to Make Bone Broth Bloody Mary Mix
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Step 2
Remove the stem and seeds from the red pepper. You can leave in large chunks.
In a shallow baking dish, add the bone broth, whole tomatoes, and red pepper. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the tomato skin starts to burst and the veggies look roasted.
Step 3
Remove from the oven and add into a high powered blender.
Add the grapefruit juice, cranberries, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, sea salt, black pepper, celery seed, onion powder, and garlic powder. Blend on high until the mixture is completely blended and uniform.
Step 4
Pour into a pitcher and chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
Step 5
To serve, add pink Himalayan sea salt to a shallow dish. Fill another bowl with water. Dip the tops of a highball glass in the water and then dip into the pink salt to garnish the rim with salt. This is optional, but it makes it look fancy, and I like mine a little more salty!
Add ice to the glass, add a shot of vodka, and pour Bloody Mix into and stir. Garnish with a celery stick and green olives.
