Why You'll Love This Recipe
- 2 Ingredients: I love that this apple cider mimosa recipe has only 2 ingredients and they are organic!
- Easy: I love festive cocktails that are easy. And this is just equal parts sparkling apple cider and champagne. That makes it easy to eyeball in a glass or even easy to make a pitcher for brunch.
- Festive AF: This is a fall cocktail, as sparkling apple cider is usually only around during the fall and holidays! This apple cider cocktail tastes like Thanksgiving, but it's light and bubbly!
Ingredients

- Sparkling Apple Cider: I use Martinelli's Organic Sparkling Apple Cider, which is my favorite! But, if you make your own homemade apple cider, fresh apple cider also works! Or if you want to use a flat cider or hard cider, that also works too you'll just have a little different flavor.
- Champagne: I use an organic brut champagne for this, but you could use your favorite kind.

Tips for Sparkling Apple Cider Mimosas
- Mocktail: Replace the champagne with orange juice for an Apple Cider Mimosa Mocktail.
- Scale It for a Party: While this fall cocktail can easily be made as a single serve cocktail in a champagne glass or champagne flutes, you can also scale this up for a party. It's just equal parts sparkling apple cider and champagne. So, if you want to make a pitcher or punch bowl, add equal amounts of champagne and sparkling apple cider and that's it!
- Swap Prosecco: If you want a little sweeter cocktail, you can swap Prosecco. I prefer a Brut champagne here as the apple cider is sweet, but either works.
- Hard Cider: Use hard cider if you want a cocktail that isn't bubbly and has a little tang to it (with added alcohol).
How to Make Sparkling Apple Cider Mimosas

- Add the sparkling apple cider and champagne together in a glass. (Or if making a large amount, you can mix together in a punch bowl.)

- Add a cinnamon stick for garnish (optional). Enjoy!
Fall Cocktail Glass Garnish Ideas
- I love serving with a cinnamon stick. Stirring it in will give a hint of cinnamon flavor too.
- You can also do a cinnamon sugar rim for some sparkle. Add cane sugar and a little bit of cinnamon to a shallow dish and mix it up. Dip the glass in another dish of water then into the cinnamon and sugar mixture to coat the rim of the glass.
- You can add a fresh sprig of rosemary for a perfect fall twist.
- Add a couple apple slices.
- Drop in some fresh cranberries.
- Use a slice of orange on the edges of the glasses.
- Make a caramel apple cider mimosa by adding a drizzle Homemade True Caramel Sauce into the glass before serving.

Recipe FAQ's
I prefer to use a brut champagne for apple cider mimosas as this is a less sweet champagne. The sparkling apple cider is already pretty sweet, so pairing a champagne that isn't as sweet is going to give it more balance and not be overly sweet. But, you can use a different kind of champagne or your favorite champagne too.
Yes, you can definitely use prosecco instead of champagne, but it is a little bit sweeter, which is why I don't prefer it.
Sparkling apple cider has bubbles and regular apple cider is flat. While I use sparkling here, you can use regular apple cider if you prefer, it just won't be as bubbly.
Yes, you can use hard cider instead of sparkling cider. The hard cider will give it a little different flavor, a little tangy and less sweet and it will boost the alcohol content.
Use equal parts sparkling apple cider and orange juice. Instead of using champagne, just replace with orange juice here. This will give you vibes of a classic mimosa but with the addition of apple cider for a fall twist!
Yes, you can do this for a non-alcoholic version.
I love to garnish with a cinnamon stick. But, other seasonal garnishes could include apple slices, cranberries, orange slices, or a sprig of rosemary.
You can, but the longer it sits out it can go flat. So, I recommend mixing it up as close to party time as possible.
I don't recommend it as the longer it sits it will loose bubbles and become more flat. If you are serving this for a party, then I recommend mixing it up as close to party time as possible.
