I've taken the traditional flavor of Orange Julius and recreated it with healthy ingredients like fruit and yogurt. This smoothie is packed with nutrients and also some protein thanks to the yogurt. This Healthy Orange Julius can double as a breakfast or snack.

I love enjoying this Healthy Orange Julius as an afternoon snack along with my Toasted Coconut Chips or Best Homemade Kale Chips. Sometimes I'll have this for breakfast along with Homemade Pork Breakfast Sausage and my Honey Butter Blackberry Toast!

Why You'll Love This Recipe

Nostalgic: If you grew up enjoying the famous Orange Julius, then you'll love this recipe because it's so nostalgic!

Healthy: This is a healthier version of Orange Julius! Made with organic fruit and yogurt, there's only 4 ingredients that all have health benefits.

Quick & Easy: This recipe is incredibly easy and it's ready in 5 minutes!

Ingredients

Oranges: I use fresh organic oranges along with orange zest to get that truly orange flavor.

Bananas: I use organic bananas to get the texture of this smoothie right. Because we're not looking for a lot of banana flavor in this recipe, stay away from overly ripe or browned or blackened bananas as those will have so much more banana flavor than a yellow banana.

Vanilla Yogurt: I use organic vanilla yogurt in this recipe for texture and also flavor! The vanilla yogurt is important for flavor, so don't use plain yogurt here. I love Stonyfield Organic Vanilla Yogurt.

Frozen Mango: Organic frozen mango is super important here as the frozen mango provides the texture for this smoothie. So, don't use fresh mango as you do want it to be frozen. I buy organic frozen mango at Costco all the time for smoothies so I always have it in my freezer.

Health Benefits

Oranges: Oranges are rich in vitamin C, which boosts the immune system and promotes healthy skin.

Banana: Bananas are high in potassium, which helps regulate blood pressure and support heart health.

Mango: Mangoes are packed with vitamins A and C, enhancing eye health and supporting the immune system.

Yogurt: Yogurt is a great source of probiotics, which improve gut health and boost the immune system.
