Why You'll Love This Recipe
- 5 Minutes: The ultimate 5 minute breakfast or snack!
- Seasonal: This is a must make when fresh blackberries are in season!
- Perfectly Sweet: The combination of honey butter and blackberries are the perfect compliment to sourdough.
- Breakfast or Snack: Warm, crispy, a little chewy, there's nothing better than warm and cozy toast.
- Organic Toast: While you can get fancy toast at many brunch spots these days, I love making gourmet organic toast at home because I can use my favorite organic ingredients.
Ingredients

- Sourdough Bread: I use organic sourdough bread, my favorite is Inked if I'm buying store bought as it has no seed oils or sugar. You can also use your favorite gluten free bread too.
- Butter: I use organic salted butter, but if you're using unsalted you may want to add a pinch of salt on top when done. You can also use vegan butter if you want to make this vegan.
- Honey: I use organic raw honey. But if you are vegan, feel free to use a little agave or maple syrup instead.
- Blackberries: I top this organic toast with fresh blackberries. If you don't have blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, or even strawberries are also delicious too. If you have excess blackberries, also try Blackberry Sweet Potato Muffins With Streusel Topping!
