Ingredients

- Sourdough Bread: You can use your favorite organic bread, but I love using Inked Sourdough if I'm using store bought as their bread doesn't have any seed oils or sugar.
- Butter: I use organic salted butter, but if you want to make this vegan, you can use your favorite vegan butter or even EVOO.
- Garlic: I use fresh minced garlic for loads of flavor!
- Tomatoes: I use organic tomatoes for the “sauce” part. You can use Roma tomatoes, heirloom or even small cherry or grape tomatoes! I make this with any tomatoes I have on hand.
- Nutritional Yeast: Organic nutritional yeast is what gives this pizza toast a cheesy flavor, but without cheese! It also adds protein to this organic toast.

Tips for Pizza Toast Without Cheese
- You can use any kind of bread you like for this, though I prefer sourdough.
- I usually use minced garlic from a jar, for ease, but fresh cloves also work!
- If you don't have fresh garlic, sprinkle a little bit of garlic powder into the butter and mix it in!
- If you're vegan, you can use vegan butter or also EVOO.
- You can also make this in your toaster oven or air fryer too.
- Try it with a drizzle of Homemade Organic Hot Honey!
How to Make Pizza Toast Without Cheese

- Slice tomato. Mix together the 2 tablespoons of butter and garlic. Spread onto one side of the bread.

- Add the remaining butter to a small skillet and put over medium heat. Add the bread, garlic butter side up. Allow the bread to toast. Flip for just a minutes to slightly toast the garlic. Then flip back over.

- Add tomato slices on top of the garlic butter and continue to cook for a few minutes to warm the tomatoes. Remove from the heat.

- Add nutritional yeast and basil on top.

Yes, you can easily make this in the toaster oven too. But, I like to use the air fryer basket so the toast gets crispy and doesn't become soggy. If you are making a lot more, you can use the big oven. Using a roasting rack will help with air flow in your big oven!
