I love this easy and adaptable recipe as you can use up veggies in your fridge. Sometimes I make mine veggie based and don’t use meat, but I also love adding Organic Prairie Garlic Summer Sausage as it’s so good and it gives added protein. You could also use traditional pepperoni slices or leftover Italian sausage as well.

I make this Pizza Toast in my air fryer. My air fryer doubles as a toaster oven, so you can use your oven for this as well if you don't have an air fryer. I start out on the regular bake so that the veggies all have time to cook properly. Then for the last couple minutes I use the air fry setting. One trick I’ve learned is to make sure to not put foil under your bread, as it won’t crisp up nicely if you do. I like to use foil in my air fryer basket a lot as it’s easy to clean up, I know! But for this recipe put the foil on the tray below so that the bread slices are directly in the basket so you get nice crispy toast and the foil below can catch any drippings.
