Leftover Turkey Recipe: I love this recipe because it's a great way to use up leftover turkey. When you run out of all the Thanksgiving sides and you just have turkey left, this leftover turkey recipe is perfect! I add apples, red onion, and celery in addition to mayo, sweet relish, and honey mustard for a delicious take on classic Chicken Salad.

Many Ways to Enjoy: You can use this Turkey Salad for sandwiches, toast, or you can serve it charcuterie style with some crackers, nuts, and fruit for a delicious lunch snack plate!

Ingredients & Health Benefits

  • Turkey: I use leftovers from my Organic Rosemary Turkey, but you can use any leftover turkey. Organic turkey a great source of lean protein.
  • Apple: I use organic Fuji apples, but another sweet variety like Pink Lady or Gala would also work. Apples have antioxidants, fiber, and more.
  • Onion: I use organic red onion for a sweeter onion flavor that isn't overpowering as the onion is raw. Onions are also loaded with antioxidants.
  • Celery: Organic celery is rich in vitamin K, folate, vitamin A, potassium and more. It also adds the signature crunch to this turkey salad.
  • Mayo: I use organic mayo, I always use mayo without seed oils as you can find mayo made with avocado oil.
  • Sweet Relish: I use organic sweet relish for added flavor.
  • Honey Mustard: I prefer honey mustard as it goes so well with the organic turkey. But, spicy brown or even yellow mustard will also work.
  • Salt and Pepper: You'll need for flavor.

Tools Needed

  • Cutting Board: You'll need a cutting board to cut the organic turkey and veggies.
  • Knife: Make sure you use a sharp knife.
  • Mixing Bowl: You'll need a large mixing bowl to mix everything together.
  • Spatula: You'll need to mix up this turkey salad.
