This BBQ Turkey Avocado Wrap is quick and easy to make for lunch using leftover turkey! Enjoy it with sides like Lemon Herb French Fries or Garlic Lemon Sweet Potato Fries!

  • Turkey: I'm using leftover turkey from Thanksgiving for this recipe. But, if you want to make this year round you can also use leftover chicken too.
  • BBQ Sauce: Use your favorite organic BBQ sauce or try my Homemade BBQ Sauce with Bone Broth, which is what I use.
  • Cheese: I use Organic Valley Raw Sharp Cheddar, but Swiss, mozzarella, or your favorite cheese also works!
  • Lettuce: I use organic spring mix, but any lettuce you have is fine.
  • Mayo: I use a little organic mayo, but you can also use mustard for a healthier option.
  • Tortilla: I use organic flour tortillas, but if you want to use a spinach or other kind you can also do that too.

Easy Substitutions

  • If you don't have turkey, this recipe goes really well with leftover chicken too!
  • You can switch up the cheese to any kind you like. I also really like this with Swiss!
  • Add in other veggies you have in the fridge to reduce waste such as bell peppers, sprouts, cucumber, or tomato.
  • Use a spinach tortilla or gluten free tortilla if you want to make this gluten free.

How to Make a BBQ Turkey Avocado Wrap

Step 1

In a small bowl, add the shredded turkey and BBQ sauce and mix to combine completely.

Step 2

In a small skillet over medium heat, warm a tortilla. Remove from the heat and dd a smear of mayo onto the tortilla.

Step 3

Add the turkey, avocado slices, cheese, lettuce, and red onion. Roll to to close, slice in half.
