Ingredients & Health Benefits
- Turkey: I'm using leftover turkey from Thanksgiving for this recipe. But, if you want to make this year round you can also use leftover chicken too. These are both lean meat options for a great source of protein.
- BBQ Sauce: Use your favorite organic BBQ sauce or try my homemade recipe!
- Cheese: I use Organic Valley Raw Sharp Cheddar, but Swiss, mozzarella, or your favorite cheese also works!
- Avocado: I add organic avocado for flavor, texture, and healthy fat.
- Lettuce: I use organic spring mix, but any lettuce you have is fine. Leafy greens are great for your gut!
- Red Onion: I prefer to use organic red onion as I think it's better raw than white or yellow. Onions are loaded with antioxidants.
- Mayo: I use a little organic mayo, but you can also use mustard for a healthier option.
- Tortilla: I use organic flour tortillas, but if you want to use a spinach or other kind you can also do that too.
