How to Make Cranberry Orang Jam

So, let’s learn how to make cranberry orange jam! This is a really easy recipe that only has three ingredients: cranberries, cane sugar, and an orange. I use both the orange juice and the zest in this jam to give it more flavor.

All three ingredients are added to a small pot and cooked over medium heat. Once the fruit starts to soften, my trick is that I use a potato masher to turn this into jam! It really helps mash up the cranberries really well! If you don’t have a potato masher, you can smash them with a spatula as well!

Once the jam is thick, then you remove it from the heat. Let it cool, and you can use it on all kinds of delicious treats! So, now you know how to make Cranberry Orange Jam and you can use it to make everything festive this month.

Cranberry Orange Jam

Learn how to make Cranberry Orange Jam – use this festive jam for toast, waffles, pancakes, sweet rolls, biscuits, cookies, cakes and more!


  • 8 ounces organic cranberries

  • 57 grams (1/4 cup) organic cane sugar

  • 1 organic orange


  • Add cranberries, cane sugar, and the juice and zest of the orange to a medium pot. Cook over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved. Turn the heat to high and boil for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Turn the heat back down to medium/low and simmer for about 10 minutes or until the consistency is thick. Transfer to a glass jar and let cool to room temperature.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
