I created this recipe with my friends at Organic Prairie, using their amazing Organic Fajita Meat. I love this Fajita Meat because it’s already sliced thin, it cooks up super quick, and it’s the only organic fajita meats out there!
I use my Organic Taco Seasoning for an easy one ingredient seasoning for these organic fajitas, making this recipe incredibly quick as you only need one spice mix, instead of a bunch of spices. I have always have my Organic Taco Seasoning in my spice cabinet, but you can also use your favorite store bought taco seasoning as well.
Why You'll Love This Recipe
6 Ingredients: I love recipes with minimal ingredients and this one does not disappoint!
Easy AF: This easy dinner comes together so quickly, so you can have dinner ready in no time. I also love this because if you are a small family (like us!) then we get to have leftovers so it makes dinner for two nights! That makes dinner the following night even easier.
Organic Fajitas: I use Organic Prairie Beef Fajita Meat in this recipe because it's 100% organic, born raised, and processed in the USA. When you support Organic Prairie, you are directly supporting farming families in the US, which is important to me.
If you're wondering why USA organic beef is better than foreign beef, beyond the farmer connection, there are more regulations around the organic standards. This is something I recently learned, where before I just thought if it was USADA certified organic it was all the same. But, it's really not and that is super unfortunate as it creates confusion for you at the grocery store.
So, while foreign meats can hold the USDA Organic seal, those farms may not be inspected as often as USA farms are. So, you may not be getting the best quality meat. It's part of the system that I think is broken, as if you hold a seal, you should have the same requirements as everyone else who also has it. But, we're just not there yet. So, this is just another reason to support US farmers.

Ingredients & Health Benefits
- Fajita Meat: I use Organic Prairie Beef Fajita Meat. Consuming pasture raised organic beef has more omega-3s and nutrients than conventional meat.
- Taco Seasoning: I use my Organic Taco Seasoning, but store bought also works.
- Bell Peppers: You can use any color bell peppers for this. Red is a favorite of mine because it has the most nutrients as it's been on the vine the longest.
- Onion: I use organic yellow onion, which has loads of anitoxidants.
- Avocado Oil: This is a healthy fat that provides flavor. You can also use EVOO if you prefer.
- Tortillas: I use La Tortilla Factory Organic Corn + Wheat Tortillas as these are my favorite. You can use sprouted corn or even all flour too.
- Avocado: Organic avocado is a healthy fat that also makes a great topping, if you want to add this.
- Salsa: This is optional, but you can add salsa on top if you like.
- Cilantro: I love topping these organic fajitas with cilantro as it provides so much flavor along with anti inflammatory properties.
- Lime: Add a squeeze of lime if you like, which has vitamin C, antioxidants, and more.
Tools Needed
- Cutting Board: You'll need a cutting board to cut the veggies and cilantro.
- Knife: Be sure to have a sharp knife.
- Mixing Bowl: You'll need a mixing bowl to mix up the fajita meat and taco seasoning.
- Large Skillet: You can use a cast iron skillet or large skillet also works too.

Fajita meat is grilled or sautéed with bell peppers and onions, where taco meat is not. Fajitas usually have more simple or plain toppings, as opposed to tacos which can have many options.
