How to Make a Vegan Blueberry Milkshake

In a high powered blender, add the ice cream, frozen blueberries, and coconut milk. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.

Can I use another kind of fruit?

Yes! If you want to use strawberries, peaches, bananas, blackberries… you can use any kind of fruit to make this a different flavor!

Can I use fresh fruit instead of frozen?

You can use fresh fruit, but frozen fruit is better for the texture of this shake. Frozen fruit will create a creamier texture where fresh fruit will release the water quicker so the shake could be thinner as opposed to thick and creamy. If you are using fresh fruit, I would recommend adding more ice cream or using less milk so it's still thick and creamy.

Can I use another kind of milk?

Yes, if you prefer almond milk or oat milk you can use those instead. I prefer coconut milk as I believe it has the best texture and flavor, plus for desserts its sweeter.

Why organic?

Why use organic ingredients in this recipe? You all know I’m a huge organic advocate, and I bet you may be thinking sometimes, Why would I even bother to use organic ingredients in something that is so sweet and indulgent? But, that is the exact reason why you should use organic ingredients! Sweet things need to have flavor in order to be good, otherwise they are just sweet and they don’t taste like much else. Organic ingredients are more pure than conventional ones, therefore they actually have more flavor than the non organic options. Say it with me, organic means more flavor!
