I created this recipe with my friends at Carapelli using the Carapelli Original Sustainable Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This olive oil comes from 100% sustainable production! Carapelli promotes sustainability on over 600,000 acres of land. It’s just one of the many reasons I’m a huge fan of Carapelli.
Their extra virgin olive oil is delicious, reasonably priced, accessible, and I'm kind of obsessed with their bottle. They really have the perfect pour and that is everything! The Carapelli Original Sustainable Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from a sustainable blend of “cold-pressed” olive oil. This oil is fruity and has aromas of vegetables, making it a perfect ingredient for this Pistachio Pesto Hummus!
Why You'll Love This Recipe
Easy: You will love this recipe because it's so easy! I love making homemade hummus because it's incredibly easy to make and it's so much better than store bought.
Homemade: Making your own homemade hummus is so much better than store bought because you can choose your own ingredients. While hummus is a healthy snack, many of them contain unnecessary ingredients like seeds oils. When you make your own, you can use purely organic and fresh ingredients and be sure to use only extra virgin olive oil.
Healthy Snack: Hummus makes a great healthy snack! You can use it as a dip for veggies and chips. But, I really love it on bread and toast. I also use it in place of condiments on a sandwich as I'm not a huge mayo fan, so I will use hummus instead.
