Tips for Homemade Organic Italian Sausage
- You can season the pork ahead of time if you need to, you can store in an airtight container for 24 hours in advance.
- I find it's easiest to mix all the spices together with your hands, if you have kitchen gloves those really help!
- Turn up the heat for the last few minutes to brown the sausage for the best flavor.
- You can store cooked Italian sausage in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months. Just thaw in the fridge for 24 hours and it's ready to use in recipes.
