Try this recipe for Turkey Lamb Burgers With Dill Sauce that uses a mix of ground lamb and ground turkey with light spices like dill and parsley. These lamb burgers with dill sauce are a light and zesty take on a traditional burger!
In a large bowl, add the ground lamb, ground turkey, dried dill weed, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix together to combine the meats and spices completely.
Form into 4 burger patties that are about 5-inches in diameter.
Heat a large skillet on medium-high heat and add in the burgers. Cook for about 4 minutes per side, until the burgers are fully cooked.
To assemble: Lightly toast the buns. Add the dill dip to the bun, add lettuce, the burger, tomato, and cucumber slices.
Serve with pickles, chips or fries!
Notes
Tips
I use a mix of ground turkey to make these leaner with a lighter flavor. But, if you want to use all lamb you can do that.
You don't need to grease the pan with olive oil as the lamb burgers are full of fat you don't really need it. The only time I'd recommend it is if you're using a stainless steel pan.
If you want melted cheese, I recommend mozzarella. Add this on when you flip the burgers so it melts easily.
If you want to add Feta cheese, you can add it on top when assembling the burgers.
