Pizza Toast Without Cheese

Just like your favorite pizza — but in toast form. This easy Pizza Toast Without Cheese makes lunch or dinner ready in under 10 minutes!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 slice sourdough bread
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter (softened)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 3 slices tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • Fresh basil

Instructions
 

  • Mix together the 2 tablespoons of butter and garlic. Spread onto one side of the bread.
  • Add the remaining butter to a small skillet and put over medium heat. Add the bread, garlic butter side up. Allow the bread to toast. Flip for just a minutes to slightly toast the garlic. Then flip back over.
  • Add tomato slices on top of the garlic butter and continue to cook for a few minutes to warm the tomatoes. Remove from the heat.
  • Add nutritional yeast and basil on top.

Tips
  • You can use any kind of bread you like for this, though I prefer sourdough.
  • I usually use minced garlic from a jar, for ease, but fresh cloves also work!
  • If you don't have fresh garlic, sprinkle a little bit of garlic powder into the butter and mix it in!
  • If you're vegan, you can use vegan butter or also EVOO.
  • You can also make this in your toaster oven or air fryer too.
  • Try it with a drizzle of Homemade Organic Hot Honey!
