Mix together the 2 tablespoons of butter and garlic. Spread onto one side of the bread.
Add the remaining butter to a small skillet and put over medium heat. Add the bread, garlic butter side up. Allow the bread to toast. Flip for just a minutes to slightly toast the garlic. Then flip back over.
Add tomato slices on top of the garlic butter and continue to cook for a few minutes to warm the tomatoes. Remove from the heat.
Add nutritional yeast and basil on top.

Tips
You can use any kind of bread you like for this, though I prefer sourdough.
I usually use minced garlic from a jar, for ease, but fresh cloves also work!
If you don't have fresh garlic, sprinkle a little bit of garlic powder into the butter and mix it in!
If you're vegan, you can use vegan butter or also EVOO.
You can also make this in your toaster oven or air fryer too.
