Tips
  • Be sure to use a dog safe peanut butter. Stick to creamy peanut butter that only has peanuts and salt as the ingredients, avoid everything else.
  • Feel free to cut these dog treats into whatever size pieces you like. Cut them smaller if you have a very small dog. We will usually divide the dough into 12 portions (instead of 6) this makes them perfect one bite treats for John John who is only 20 pounds.
  • You can also roll out the dough with a rolling pin and cut out with cookie cutters. Or, you can even just slice into small cubes with a pizza cutter, which is what we do for John John all the time as this makes them even smaller!
  • If you are making the treats smaller, just bake for a couple minutes less.
  • If you're trying to sneak mushrooms into your dog's diet, check out our Mushroom Peanut Butter Dog Treats.
  • Store in an airtight container so they stay fresh.
  • High Altitude — Follow the recipe as noted.
