Let your dog in on the pumpkin magic with this recipe for Pumpkin Donuts for Dogs! They'll go nuts for this homemade dog treat recipe that looks like mini donuts!
In a medium mixing bowl, add the melted coconut oil, honey, pumpkin puree, flour, coconut, baking powder, and coconut milk and stir together until you have uniform batter. Transfer to a piping bag.
Grease a mini donut pan with coconut oil. Pipe batter into the donut pan.
Bake at 350°F for 11 to 13 minutes or until lightly golden brown and they look set.
To make the topping: Line a quarter sheet pan with parchment paper and add the coconut. Bake for about 3 to 5 minutes until lightly toasted.
Let the donuts cool completely in the pan. Once cool, remove the donuts.
Add Greek yogurt on top for “frosting”. Sprinkle with toasted coconut.

Tips
I use a mini donut pan here because John John is small! You could also use a regular size donut pan if you have a larger dog as well (you'll just need to bake a bit longer).
If you don’t have coconut milk, you can also use oat milk as long as the only ingredients are oats and water.
I grease the donut pan with just a little coconut oil. But, you could also use an olive oil cooking spray if you have that as it’s also safe for dogs so long as the only ingredient is olive oil.
Be sure to use organic plain Greek yogurt. Don’t use any yogurt with flavors or sugars as those are harmful to dogs.
High Altitude — Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden brown and they look set.
