Ingredients
 
 

  • 226 grams dark chocolate (chopped)
  • 57 grams coconut oil

Instructions
 

  • In a heatproof bowl, add the chocolate and coconut oil. You can melt over a double boiler. Or, alternatively, microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring in between each interval to prevent burning. Stir to combine completely.
  • Transfer to a glass jar. Store at room temperature for 1 month.

Tips
  • Use a high quality dark chocolate for the best flavor!
  • Because coconut oil will harden, the magic shell with harden when stored. Just microwave it for a few seconds to warm it up before using.
  • I like to store this in a mason jar as it's easy to reheat if needed and pour over ice cream.
