Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ¾ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • ½ teaspoon dried sage
  • ½ teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, add the ground turkey, maple syrup, sea salt, black pepper, fennel seeds, sage, and marjoram. Mix to combine completely.
  • In a large skillet add the olive oil and put over medium heat.
  • Form the turkey into 6 patties that are about 3-inches in diameter. Add the patties to the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  • Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Tips
  • You can also use ground chicken or ground pork in place of turkey.
  • If you want to form these into links, you can do that instead, they'll cook the same way.
  • Easily freeze these after they made and cooled. Store in an airtight container in the freezer. You can reheat in your toaster oven or air fryer, just like frozen breakfast sausages!
