  • Mason Jar (for storage)

Ingredients
 
 

  • 226 grams blueberries
  • 226 grams cane sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Add the blueberries, cane sugar and water to a small pot.
  • Put over low/medium heat and heat until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Turn the heat up to medium/high and bring to a gentle boil. Continue to boil for about 10 minutes until the juice has thickened and reduced.
  • Transfer the blueberry mixture to a blender along with the lemon juice. Blend until no visible signs of blueberry remain.
  • Transfer to a glass jar and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

  • You can use another berry, such as strawberries, blackberries or raspberries.
  • Feel free to use less sugar if you prefer.
  • Make sure to store in an airtight container in the fridge.
