This 3 ingredient Blueberry Pup Cup is an amazing homemade frozen treat for your dog! Make your dog a healthy pup cup at home instead of buying them one.
Chill the can of coconut cream for at least 24 hours before beginning this recipe.
Scoop out the coconut cream from the can, do not use the coconut water. You can store the coconut water in an airtight container in the fridge and use for smoothies or other recipes.
Add the coconut cream into a blender with the frozen blueberries and honey.
Blend until smooth and creamy. Because there is no liquid, you can use a blender tamper or a spatula to help mix it up at first to get it going!
Transfer to a small dish and add fresh blueberries on top and it’s ready to serve to your dog. Be mindful of how much you give your dog as this is high in fat, it should be a small amount for a treat.
You can also use this as a cold foam for lattes for you!
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Notes
Tips
You can substitute the blueberries with another dog friendly fruit such as strawberries (make sure to de-stem), raspberries, or blackberries.
This is a high fat treat, so be mindful of how much you share with your dog. This should be fed in moderation, which is why it's a great treat to share!
You can also eat this too!
You can use this as a frosting for a dog birthday cake. You could swap the Greek yogurt frosting for this if your dog is dairy free and make my Dog Birthday Cake Without Peanut Butter.
