Frozen Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Treat your dog this summer to frozen peanut butter treats for dogs! This simple recipe has only 3 ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen.

Equipment

  • Digital Food Scale
  • Blender
  • Mini Muffin Pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups Greek yogurt
  • 1 banana
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter

Instructions
 

  • Line a mini muffin tin with liners.
  • Add the Greek yogurt, banana, and peanut butter to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into the mini muffin tin.
  • Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Give to your pup as a frozen treat or use as a food topper.

Tips
  • Be sure to use plain Greek yogurt. Stay away from yogurt with added sugars or flavors. 
  • If you dog can't do dairy, look for a coconut based yogurt (ensuring it doesn't have added sugars or flavors).
  • You can put these into any mold you have, I just used a mini muffin pan because it was easy and it’s a good size. 
  • Store in an airtight container in the freezer.
