Learn how to make Dog Friendly Whipped Cream so you can make your dog a homemade pup cup that's safe and so much better than the coffee shop! The best thing about this recipe is you can also enjoy this dairy free whipped cream too!
Chill the can of coconut cream in the fridge for at least 48 hours before beginning this recipe.
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment (or using a hand mixer), scoop out the coconut cream fat on top of the can. Do not add the liquid in, save that coconut water in the fridge for using in smoothies!
Add the honey into the mixer with the coconut.
Whisk on low and then slowly increase speed until you are at full speed. Whisk until stiff peaks form, this will be pretty quick, much faster than traditional whipped cream.
It’s ready to use! Make your dog a homemade pup cup or serve up in a dish with fruits for a delicious treat you both can share.

Tips
It really helps to chill the coconut cream in the fridge before beginning this recipe. I recommend chilling for at least 48 hours beforehand. I usually just keep a couple cans of these in the fridge all the time!
I use raw honey as a sweetener, but if you don’t have honey you can use organic pure maple syrup in its place. It's not as good of a choice as honey for dogs, but it is safe for dogs in small amounts as a treat.
If you have extra whipped cream, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.
