This Cinnamon Honey Butter Spread makes the perfect topping for toast, bagels, muffins, waffles, and more! It also is an easy, thoughtful, and delicious homemade gift!
Make sure your butter is softened. This is key as softened butter makes it easy to combine the honey and cinnamon completely.
Add the butter, honey, and cinnamon to a medium bowl. Stir with a spatula to combine completely.
Transfer to a glass jar and store in the fridge. I used Ateco tip #827 and piped it into the jar for a pretty presentation. This is totally optional, but if gifting, it will make it look extra fancy!

Tips
Soft butter is key for this recipe! It’s super important to have soft butter in order to easily mix in the honey and cinnamon.
Use a high quality butter, whatever butter you like best to eat is what you should use for this recipe. If you want to use unsalted butter you can, just add 1/4 teaspoon of salt to this recipe as well.
Use a high quality honey that you like! One of my favorite honeys for baking is Nature Nate’s Organic Raw Honey.
Use a high quality cinnamon that you like! My favorite is Korintje Cinnamon, which is not usually what you find at the grocery store, but I believe the flavor is so much better! If you want to know more about the different kinds of cinnamon, read my article Best Cinnamon to Bake With. You can use any kind of cinnamon you like!
You can do this in your stand mixer or even with a hand mixer if you like. I just did it in a bowl as I just made one batch. But, if you are gifting these and want to make multiple batches, then using a mixer would be much easier and faster!
If you want to make it look extra fancy, you can transfer it to a piping bag with Ateco tip #827 or any start tip that you like! If you are gifting then this makes it look extra fancy!
I use a small glass jar to store this in. This makes a great gifting size for the holidays!
Be sure to store in the fridge if you are not eating right away. But, if you’re eating this daily, you can leave butter out on the counter for a few days.
Make this dairy free by using a dairy free butter, I like Miyoko's.
