These are the Best Homemade Kale Chips with nutritional yeast! I don’t even buy them anymore, because these easy nutritional yeast kale chips are better than any store bought ones!
Preheat the oven to 250°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add the kale to a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Add the nutritional yeast, garlic powder, and onion powder and massage into kale. (Or you can also just doe this on the baking sheet if you are lazy like me!).
Transfer the kale to the prepared baking sheet and spread out evenly.
Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes or until they are dried and crispy. Add salt immediately after they come out of the oven. Allow to cool completely on the baking sheet.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 to 3 days.

Tips
Be sure to remove the stems of the kale. While you can eat these, they just get tough in the oven and have a less than ideal texture. You can even pull them out if you missed some after baking too!
All ovens are different, so ensure your kale chips are crispy and dried before removing. You can definitely bake them a little bit longer if needed!
Store in a cool, dry place. But, these are best eaten within 2 days of making.
