This Thanksgiving Cheeseboard is a simple appetizer that will impress all your guests. I created this recipe for my friends at Organic Valley using their amazing meat and cheese products!

Thanksgiving is less than a few weeks away! With November just beginning, Thanksgiving will be here before we know it! I recently wrote an article for my friends at Organic Valley about prepping for Thanksgiving day. You can read it here, it has a ton of great tips on things you can prep up to 48 hours in advance! Prepping can help make Thanksgiving day a bit more relaxed so you can spend time with friends and family.

One of my tips is creating a cheeseboard the day before that is prepped and ready to pull out of the fridge on Thanksgiving day when people start bothering you for snacks. A cheeseboard is something that can be easily prepped the day before with cheese, olives, and fruits. It just needs to be wrapped in plastic wrap so it doesn't dry out and keep it stored in the fridge. On turkey day, just pull that baby out and add some crackers and it's ready to go!

This type of appetizer is something that my mom and grandma made for literally every single holiday! It's very nostalgic for me, and it's also such an easy appetizer to make. I love a cheeseboard because you can easily snack, and there's always something for everyone.

Make sure you pick up some Organic Valley Grassmilk Raw Sharp Cheddar Cheese and Organic Prairie Uncured Beef Summer Sausage, as this recipe won't be the same without these! I cannot tell you how amazing this summer sausage is guys, seriously. And the grassmilk cheese is unreal, all of Organic Valley's grassmilk products are truly some of my faves and make a difference in taste as far as buying this versus just another cheese.

Ingredients

Summer Sausage: I use Organic Praire Summer Sausage.

Cheese: I use Organic Valley Grassmilk Raw Cheddar.

Grapes: I use organic green grapes, feel free to use any kind you like.

Olives: Organic green olives with red pepper go so well with summer sausage and cheese!

Crackers: Use your favorite organic crackers, I used a flatbread rosemary cracker for this board.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Slice summer sausage and cheeses into ¼-inch thick slices.

Step 2

Place olives in a small bowl and place on a cheese board, cutting board, or platter. Arrange sausage and cheese prettily on the cheese board. Add grapes and broccoli, and leave a small space for the crackers. Add the crackers.

Can I make this gluten free?

Yes, just use your favorite gluten free crackers.

Can I make this ahead of time?

Yes, just prep the sausage, cheese, grapes and olives on the board and warp it in plastic wrap and keep in the fridge. Then when ready to serve remove the plastic wrap and add the crackers.
