Simple Cheeseburger TacosDifficulty: Easy
Try my simple Cheeseburger Tacos which make the best hamburger tacos made with completely organic ingredients! This delicious recipe is fun for the whole family!
1 organic yellow onion
2 tablespoons organic salted butter
4 organic flour tortillas
1 pound Organic Prairie Ground Beef
Fine sea salt
Organic black pepper
4 slices Organic Valley American Cheese
1 heart Romain lettuce
1 organic tomato
Organic dill pickles
- To make the grilled onions: Slice the onion into thin slices. Add the butter into a large skillet over medium/high heat and let it melt to coat the pan. Add in the onions and sauté until onions are translucent and golden brown, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- To make the burger meat: In a large skillet, add the ground beef and salt and paper. Cook over medium/high heat until the ground beef is done, about 10 minutes.
- To make the tacos: In a large skillet, add a tortilla and ground beef. Put over medium heat, add a slice of American cheese on top and allow to melt while the tortilla warms and browns slightly.
- Top the taco with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles and condiments of your choice.
