And according to webmd.com we need a minimum of 8,000 to 11,00 antioxidants a day, so eating just a cup of blueberries puts us over the hump with just one food!
Vitamin C, A, E, and K
Blueberries contain vitamin C, A, E, and K! That’s a ton of vitamins in these tiny little delicious berries, they’re like a multivitamin up in your fridge, and one you don’t have to swallow but get to eat instead. I mean who doesn’t love that?

Blueberries are low in calories which makes them a great option for snacking! Especially during summer when you want something cold and sweet, blueberries check all the boxes.

I eat blueberries after my breakfast every morning and I also enjoy them in my smoothie for my mid morning snack that usually follows a handful of almonds. I will also sometimes eat blueberries after lunch or dinner if I’m craving more sweetness!
Yes! Fruit is frozen at its peak so it is just as healthy as fresh fruit and can have even better flavor when things are not in season. If you make smoothies daily, like I do, frozen blueberries are the best way to go!
Yes, all blueberries count! Even cooked blueberries like in waffles, muffins, coffee cakes, or jams contain the same antioxidants as fresh blueberries!
Yes and no. Dried fruits have the same antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals as fresh fruits. But most of the time they have added sugars. So if all you can do it eat dried blueberries that is still good! Just be careful of how much sugar you’re eating as well and take that into consideration for your sugar intake for the day.
