What is a frittata?

A frittata is basically a crustless quiche. It's a simple baked egg dish that can have add ins such as meats, cheese, or fruits. Sometimes milk is added to fluff up the eggs as well, but that is optional. I also sometimes add bone broth into frittatas for extra protein and nutrients.

You will love this recipe for mini bacon frittatas because the savory bacon pairs so well with the caramelized onions!
