How to Make Bacon Jalapeño Cream Cheese Spread

Step 1

Cook the bacon to your liking. I prefer to bake at 400°F for 10 to 12 minutes or until crispy.

Chop the bacon into small pieces, set aside.

Step 2

In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add the cream cheese, jalapeños, jalapeño water, chives, and bacon pieces. Mix on low to combine and then increase speed to high and whip until combined completely.

Step 3

Serve with bagel chips, butter crackers or use as a spread on bagels or toast.

Yes, if you prefer to use a dairy free cream cheese you totally can! My favorite option is Miyoko’s.

Can I cook the bacon in a skillet?

Yes! If you prefer to cook your bacon in a skillet you can definitely do that. You can even make it in your toaster oven, which is what I normally do!

What can I eat this with?
